We missed the Badlands because we got there right after sunset.  None of us were tired enough to sleep so we drove on to Yellowstone.  Then we got to Yellowstone and found out they were only partially open, one road.  We checked out the Mammoth Hot Springs then found a restaurant so we could eat Thanksgiving dinner.  We found a nice place to eat and then got a hotel room.  There were all kinds of hunters at the restaurant.  They had their trophies in the back of their trucks parked outside.  The next day we hiked to a water fall that we found to be frozen.  We went down a path and climbed around on it.  The hike took up most of the day so we headed towards Seattle.
